Count on using Corte*Clean® at the 5 SCOOPS (2.5 US Cups) maximum strength if the composite has been neglected or previously cleaned with other products/deck cleaners. Composites generally require TWO (2) REPEAT applications at maximum strength to get clean when stains are first noticed. Enough Corte*Clean® is provided in each bag of Corte*Clean® do approximately two (2) repeat applications at maximum strength.
Keep in mind that the longer one procrastinates Corte Cleaning composites, the more expense and time it generally takes. What does this mean with Corte*Clean®? Repeat applications at maximum strength until the composite is clean and the Corte*Clean is no longer becoming dirty or discolored. Remember to always allow the composite to thoroughly dry before using Corte*Clean®. If this is your first time using Corte*Clean®, you will likely need to purchase twice as much. Example: To clean a neglected 300 Square Foot composite, you will likely need two (2) bags of Corte*Clean®. Note: 6’ railing sections generally require approximately 75 square feet of Corte*Clean®, 8’ railing sections generally require approximately 100 square feet of Corte*Clean®
Once the composite is thoroughly Corte Cleaned, and the Corte*Clean® is no longer becoming dirty or discolored, the Corte*Clean® can be diluted and allowed to dry on the composite. This will result in white Corte*Clean® residue remaining on the composite. Corte*Clean® is designed to soak into the composite and continue to clean any time it receives moisture until it is thoroughly rinsed with water, keeping composite clean for longer periods of time. Always thoroughly rinse any remaining Corte*Clean® prior to allowing bare skin, children, pets or other animals on the composite.
